The Car Man
"The Car Man" is a dance production by choreographer Matthew Bourne, loosely based on Bizet's opera *Carmen*, set in a fictional American diner and garage where passion, betrayal, and murder unfold among its workers. First staged in 2000, it's known for its sultry, film noir-inspired atmosphere and muscular, cinematic choreography.
