Shostakovich Seven
The RSNO, conducted by Bassem Akiki and joined by emerging musicians from Sinfonia Smith Square's Fellowship programme, performs Shostakovich's Seventh Symphony—his defiant wartime "Leningrad" Symphony—alongside Copland's fanfare and a violin concerto featuring soloist Philippe Quint.
