You and I are nothing
This fragmented, surreal poem meditates on emptiness and existence—circling around an ambiguous "box" that may or may not be alive, breathing, or truly nothing—before ending with an image of vast hidden tunnels beneath a city watched by a single "sweetly sweeping" eye. Its broken syntax and repetition ("nothing and yet is lonely") convey existential uncertainty and solitude.
