Aladin
It sounds like you're referring to *Aladdin*, the story of a poor young man in Agrabah who finds a magic lamp containing a genie and uses his three wishes to win the heart of Princess Jasmine while outwitting the villainous Jafar. Originally a folk tale, it's best known as the 1992 Disney animated film (and its 2019 live-action remake) — let me know if you meant a specific event, show, or version!
