**"Black Coffee"** is a detective play (and novelization) by Agatha Christie in which Hercule Poirot is summoned to the home of famed physicist Sir Claud Amory, who fears someone in his household has stolen his secret explosive formula. When Amory dies shortly after drinking a cup of black coffee, Poirot must unmask the murderer and recover the formula before it falls into the wrong hands.
