Heilige Messe
**Heilige Messe** is the German term for the **Holy Mass**, the central act of Catholic (and some other Christian) worship. It commemorates the Last Supper through the Eucharist, combining liturgy of the word (scripture readings and sermon) with liturgy of the Eucharist (consecration of bread and wine).
