Die Hochzeit des Figaro

**Le nozze di Figaro** ("The Marriage of Figaro") is a comic opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1786) in which the valet Figaro and his bride Susanna outwit Count Almaviva, who tries to exercise his feudal right to sleep with Susanna on her wedding night. Through schemes of disguise and mistaken identity, the servants ultimately teach the Count humility, and he asks his wife's forgiveness.
