Olle Hexe
The "Olle Hexe" (Old Witch) is a traditional figure in Swabian-Alemannic Fastnacht, the carnival celebrated in southwestern Germany, where costumed witches with carved wooden masks, shaggy costumes, and brooms roam the streets scaring spectators and playfully "plucking" onlookers during pre-Lenten festivities.
