This event screens Hayao Miyazaki's Oscar-winning animated film *Spirited Away* ("Chihiros Reise ins Zauberland") in the anime corner, following ten-year-old Chihiro's adventures in a mysterious world of gods and spirits. It was the first hand-drawn, non-English-language film to win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature—a beloved coming-of-age classic about friendship and self-confidence.
