HUNKY JESUS
The "Hunky Jesus Contest" is an annual Easter Sunday event in San Francisco hosted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a queer activist charity, in which contestants compete in a lighthearted pageant celebrating attractive men styled as a "hunky" Jesus. It's a campy, satirical celebration blending LGBTQ+ culture, drag, and irreverent religious parody.
