Das Sams
"Das Sams" (The Sams) is a beloved German children's book series by Paul Maar about a small, impish red-haired creature with a nickel-sized hole in its nose that grants wishes — but wishes made with its wish-dots (Wunschpunkte) often go comically wrong. The story follows the grumpy barber Herr Taschenbier, whose lonely life is turned upside down when the Sams comes into his care.
