Eine **Abientlassungsfeier** (commonly spelled "Abi-Entlassungsfeier") is a German graduation ceremony where high school students (Gymnasium) are formally released/dismissed from school, typically held after receiving their Abitur diploma (the German university entrance qualification). It usually includes speeches, diploma presentations, and celebrations marking the end of their school career.
