This is part one of a two-part retrospective exhibition on Swiss painter Franz Gertsch (1930–2022), a pioneer of photorealism known for his monumental works. Held at the Kunstmuseum Bern from August 14, 2026 to January 17, 2027, it spans over 60 years of his career, alongside a companion show at the Museum Franz Gertsch.
