The Volksbühne returns in 2026 to the newly renovated Prater on Kastanienallee—a former people's theater that stood closed for ten years and now stands as a reconstructed relic of a lost world—with a production called *Perfection* that uses the venue's history to ask who remains, who has left, and who is allowed to come to Berlin and Germany today and in the future.
