Der fliegende Holländer
Wagner's "Der fliegende Holländer" (The Flying Dutchman) is an opera about a cursed sea captain doomed to wander the oceans until redeemed by a woman's faithful love. This production at the Theater an der Wien presents the story of Senta's obsessive devotion and the Dutchman's longing for redemption in a gripping, female-centred staging.
