From May 2–23, 2027, the natural sciences museum hosts "Journey to Middle-earth," an exhibition styled as a cabinet of curiosities in a Gondor palace, showcasing Tolkien-inspired specimens (warg skulls, Morgul flowers, precious stones) while exploring both the fantasy world of The Lord of the Rings and the real-world inspirations behind Tolkien's creations.
