A **Landestheater** is a German-language regional state theater, typically funded by a German or Austrian state (Land), that hosts performances such as plays, operas, operettas, concerts, and ballet for the local public. If you have a specific Landestheater event in mind, let me know the details (city, date, or program) and I can give you a more precise summary.
